Power of Attorney
Appointing a Power of Attorney allows you to give permission to a third party to act on your behalf in all legal non-legal and monetary matters. Clarity offers an exclusive remote service for overseas clients who are unable to travel to Dubai to complete the transfer These can be as broad or narrow in scope. This allows you to travel freely in and out of the UAE and know that someone has your interests covered and are dealing with your affairs in a reliable and professional way leaving you to holiday, conduct business or travel without the worry about time difference and being close to phones and computers. Gifting Property in Dubai
Gifting in Dubai is a practice whereby a person can transfer part or all of a property to an eligible relative as a gift, entitling them to a reduction in the transfer costs of the property. Our conveyancers are here to help when an owner wishes to transfer their property of part shares to their spouse or when parents want to gift a property / part shares to their children, or vice versa. Currently, in these types of transfers, the Dubai Land Department charges 0.125% of the valuation amount as a transfer fee as opposed to 4%. After finishing University in Manchester, UK Lydia moved to Abu Dhabi to work as Cabin Crew for Etihad Airways which she spent two and a half years travelling the world and being based in the Middle East. Lydia then decided to pursue a career in real estate by joining Betterhomes in 2022 to work as a real estate agent in Marina area. After one year as an agent Lydia joined the Conveyancing Department at Clarity where they have a great team.

Originally from the UK, Kerriann has over 10 years’ experience in financial services and real estate. She began her career in Dubai as a mortgage broker before moving into her role as a Conveyancer. Prior to moving to the UAE, Kerriann had her own mortgage broker business in Scotland. Her background in mortgages and the home buying process in Dubai, gives her an excellent understanding of property transactions and ensures she’s able to make the conveyancing process as smooth as possible for every client she works with.
